Ginger Dimapur

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announced the signing of a new Ginger hotel in Dimapur, Nagaland. This greenfield development represents IHCL’s first property in the state and strengthens its footprint in Northeast India.

Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development at IHCL, stated, “Dimapur serves as a vital economic and cultural hub. Growing travel demand and infrastructure improvements make this an ideal location to expand our Northeast presence. We’re pleased to collaborate with T.K. Enterprises on this venture.”

The 90-room Ginger Dimapur will operate near Dimapur Airport, reflecting the brand’s lean luxe approach through balanced comfort and functionality. Guests will enjoy city views alongside modern spaces designed for productivity and relaxation. The property will feature the brand’s signature Qmin restaurant serving international and local cuisine, a bar, fitness facilities, and adaptable meeting areas catering to business events and social functions.

T.K. Angami of project partner T.K. Enterprises commented, “We’re excited to collaborate with IHCL in introducing Ginger to Dimapur. This property will enhance regional hospitality standards while supporting local growth.”

As Nagaland’s largest city, Dimapur maintains a diverse economy spanning trade, manufacturing, services, and transportation sectors.

This signing brings IHCL’s Northeast portfolio to 19 hotels, with 10 currently in development.
