Marriott Bonvoy and the International Cricket Council (ICC) have announced a multi-year partnership designating Marriott International’s travel platform as the ICC’s Official Accommodation Partner until 2029.

The collaboration connects cricket’s global audience with Marriott Bonvoy’s hospitality network, providing its 260+ million members with unique opportunities to engage with the sport worldwide. The agreement further enables Marriott to introduce its properties to cricket’s expansive fan base.

“Cricket’s growth as an international sport aligns with our mission to serve travelers,” said Peggy Roe, EVP and Chief Customer Officer at Marriott International. “As the ICC’s hospitality partner, we’ll create extraordinary experiences for members passionate about cricket across the globe.”

The partnership spans premier ICC men’s tournaments between 2026-2029, including:

  • 2026 T20 World Cup (India/Sri Lanka)
  • 2027 ODI World Cup (South Africa/Zimbabwe/Namibia)
  • 2028 T20 World Cup (Australia/New Zealand)
  • 2029 Champions Trophy (India)
  • Two World Test Championship Finals (UK)

With over 450 properties across host markets, Marriott International will accommodate teams, officials, and fans attending these events. Supporters booking official ICC travel packages will have access to stays across Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio.

The alliance focuses on enhancing fan experiences through custom hospitality offerings at key venues, curated cricket content, and local activations designed to deepen engagement.

Rajeev Menon, President – Asia Pacific (excluding China), highlighted: “Cricket unites fans across borders. Through this partnership, we’ll deliver tailored experiences to Marriott Bonvoy members in cricket-centric markets like India, Australia, and Sri Lanka.”

Satya Anand, President – Europe, Middle East & Africa, added: “Having experienced cricket’s unifying power firsthand, we’re excited to transform this partnership into memorable journeys that bring fans closer to the sport they love.”

ICC Chairman Jay Shah emphasized: “This collaboration reflects our commitment to elevating fan experiences through partnerships with global brands where travel and hospitality meet cricketing excellence.”

ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta concluded: “Together we’ll create holistic event experiences – combining athletic excellence with travel, hospitality, and cultural elements that resonate long after the final ball.”
