Radisson Hotel Group confirmed the agreement for Radisson RED Mumbai International Airport, a 208‑room lifestyle property set to open in December 2026. This launch introduces the Radisson RED brand to Mumbai and will be the group’s eighth hotel in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
Situated a mere four‑minute drive from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, the hotel provides easy reach to major business districts such as Andheri MIDC, SEEPZ Mumbai, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) and the Jio World Convention Centre, serving corporate travelers, airline staff, transit guests and MICE clientele.
The project will involve refurbishing and rebranding an existing asset under the Radisson RED banner. It will comprise 208 guest rooms, an all‑day dining venue, a bar, a deli, more than 1,000 sq m of meeting and event facilities—including a ballroom and banquet halls—plus a swimming pool, spa and fitness centre.
Commenting on the deal, Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and COO for South Asia at Radisson Hotel Group, remarked, “Mumbai remains among India’s most vibrant hospitality markets, and the agreement for Radisson RED Mumbai International Airport underscores our push into high‑demand, high‑growth locales. Its close proximity to one of the nation’s busiest airports and principal commercial centers positions the hotel to meet the shifting expectations of business and leisure guests seeking design‑focused lifestyle stays. This agreement also represents a significant step in our expansion path, lifting our Mumbai Metropolitan Region tally to eight properties. We will continue to fortify our foothold in gateway cities and launch brands that appeal to today’s contemporary travelers.”
