IHCL signs a new Taj resort at Ranthambore

The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced a new property in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, to be developed under its Taj brand. This greenfield project represents a significant step in expanding the company’s luxury offerings in India’s popular leisure destinations.
Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and CEO of IHCL, stated, “With our long-standing presence in Rajasthan, IHCL continues to showcase the state’s cultural heritage through distinctive hospitality experiences. Improved access to Sawai Madhopur is creating fresh opportunities in the region, particularly for travelers visiting Ranthambore National Park. The 75-room eco-friendly resort will blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings, featuring suite accommodations, villas with private courtyards and plunge pools. Dining options will include multiple venues, from all-day dining to specialty restaurants and a safari lounge. Leisure facilities will comprise meeting spaces, a heated pool, spa, fitness center, and salon. Aligned with IHCL’s ESG+ commitment, the property will incorporate solar energy, rainwater harvesting, and locally sourced sustainable materials.
