Westin Hotels and Resorts, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of over 30 brands, has debuted in Jaipur with the opening of The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa—simultaneously marking Marriott International’s 200th property milestone in India.

The resort signifies Manglam Group’s entry into hospitality through its dedicated vertical, Manglam Spa and Resorts. This inaugural project anchors the Group’s ₹1,000-crore investment strategy focused on developing luxury hotels, wellness resorts, and serviced accommodations. Developed at an investment of ₹300 crore, the property sets the stage for Manglam Group’s long-term ambitions in the sector.

Nestled across nine acres at the foothills of the Aravalli range, the resort blends Balinese-inspired architecture with local craftsmanship to create a restorative retreat. Its 135 accommodations—including suites and private villas with plunge pools—embody Westin’s wellness philosophy through its Sleep Well, Eat Well, and Move Well pillars, featuring the signature Heavenly® Bed.

Guests can access fitness facilities at the 24-hour WestinWORKOUT® Studio, jogging trails, and sports courts. Four dining venues highlight farm-to-fork concepts and regional flavors, while Heavenly Spa by Westin™ offers curated treatments. The property also includes event spaces, cultural programming, and a children’s club to cater to diverse guest needs.

“This opening allows travelers to experience Jaipur through Westin’s lens, combining cultural authenticity with wellness-driven hospitality,” stated Kamaljit Singh, General Manager of the property.

N.K. Gupta, Chairman of Manglam Group, emphasized the launch as a transformative moment: “Partnering with Marriott International to deliver this milestone property aligns with our vision of creating globally benchmarked assets that elevate Jaipur’s standing.”

Amrita Gupta, CEO of Manglam Spa and Resorts, added: “Our collaboration with Westin is foundational to expanding our hospitality footprint. Future projects will continue emphasizing wellness, architecture, and international service standards.”

Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President for South Asia at Marriott International, noted the significance of the 200th property in India: “This achievement underscores the resilience of India’s hospitality market and our commitment to delivering distinctive experiences across segments. With 150 hotels in the pipeline, we remain confident in India’s growth potential.”

As one of Marriott International’s top three global markets, India continues to drive expansion through rising domestic travel demand and infrastructure investment. The opening reinforces the company’s strategic focus on the country, integrated within the Marriott Bonvoy ecosystem’s network of exclusive destinations and benefits for its 260 million members.
