Sun Siyam Vilu Reef unveils new Ocean Signature Villas with Pool and Slide

Sun Siyam Vilu Reef has just revealed its brand‑new Ocean Signature Villas featuring a pool and slide, representing the property’s biggest upgrade yet. The announcement came at an exclusive gathering of local press, partners and VIP guests, hosted by Hon. Ahmed Siyam Mohamed, Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Sun Siyam.

Within Sun Siyam’s Privé Collection, the resort now offers 50 over‑water villas—48 one‑bedroom units and two two‑bedroom Ocean Signature Villas. These accommodations blend luxury, privacy and fun, delivering sweeping lagoon vistas and a fluid indoor‑outdoor experience.

Offered in one‑ and two‑bedroom layouts, each villa boasts generous living areas, built‑in pantries, private dressing zones, open‑plan bathrooms with freestanding tubs and double vanities, plus roomy decks. Every unit also comes with a private pool, an overwater hammock and an 11‑meter water slide that drops straight into the lagoon.

Drawing inspiration from the Maldives’ natural landscape, the interiors blend gentle curves, organic textures, white‑timber paneled walls and deep‑blue ceilings that echo the ocean’s hues. Locally produced artwork adds a stronger sense of place.

White‑timber paneled walls furnish a bright, calm backdrop, set off by a deep blue ceiling that mirrors the ocean’s richness. Arched ceiling elements steer flow through the space, reflected in the gentle curves of custom timber joinery. Recessed lighting is woven into the architecture, giving a soft, warm glow. Locally crafted artwork contributes depth and authenticity, rooting the design in its Maldivian setting.
